What we offer
Family relationships shape how we think, feel, and navigate the world. When those relationships become strained or stuck, the effects ripple outward — affecting school, work, and daily life for everyone involved. Family therapy addresses those dynamics directly, working with the family system rather than just the individual.
We work with families of all kinds, including parents and young children, blended and stepfamilies, families navigating divorce or separation, and adult siblings working through longstanding difficulties. Sessions may include the whole family, specific combinations of members, or individual family members depending on the goals.
Our approach
Our family therapy work draws on Cognitive Behavioral principles alongside Family Systems approaches — helping family members understand how patterns of thought and behavior interact within the family, and developing the communication skills and strategies to change them.
Parent support and education is an important part of our work with families that include children or adolescents. We help parents understand what their child is experiencing, respond more effectively, and create the kind of home environment where growth is possible.
What we treat
Families come to us with a wide range of concerns. Some are in acute crisis; others are dealing with long-standing patterns that have become entrenched. Either way, the goal is the same: to help family members understand each other better, communicate more effectively, and build relationships that support everyone.
Parent support and education is an important part of our work. We help parents understand what their child is experiencing and develop strategies that work at home.
