Telehealth

Paoli Psychological Associates offers online video sessions through a secure telehealth platform. You can meet with one of our therapists or counselors from the privacy of your home, office, or car, with regular appointments and no need to come into the PPA offices.

After an initial phone or email conversation to schedule your first appointment, your clinician will send you a link by email. When you click it at your appointment time, your session begins. No special software or account is required.

To participate, you’ll need a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with working video and audio, and a reliable internet connection. A private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking freely is recommended.

The majority of our clinical services are available via telehealth, including individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, and career counseling. Our CBT-based approach translates well to video. Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and just as effective as in-person work for most concerns.

Some services — particularly comprehensive psychological testing and evaluation — do require an in-person visit. If you’re unsure whether telehealth is appropriate for your situation, we’re happy to discuss it when you get in touch.

Our telehealth services are available to anyone located in Pennsylvania. We are particularly convenient for clients in the Philadelphia suburbs who prefer not to travel to our Paoli or Exton offices, including those in Wayne, West Chester, King of Prussia, Phoenixville, Newtown Square, Villanova, Berwyn, Media, Downingtown, Malvern, Devon, and surrounding communities.
